July is upon us and it brings fireworks, Introverts, and Thomas!

Celebrate America at Kennywood with entertainment, a hot dog eating contest, the Weiner 100 Dachshund Race, and fireworks every night from June 30th through July 4th.

The Fourth of July means picnics, fun, and fireworks! Pittsburgh celebrates the birth of our nation with fireworks down at the Point. For a day of FamilyFun head to Heinz Field for their Fourth of July Celebration with live music, food, and FamilyFun activities and stay for the fireworks. Admission is free.

Venture Outdoors hosts The Family Beginner Paddle and Peach Cobbler is held at the Aspinwall River Front on July 8th. Learn to paddle a canoe under the instruction of experts and then come ashore for Peach Cobbler with your Family and new friends.

The 6th Annual Deutschtown Music Festival returns to the North Side July 13 -14. Come out on Saturday July 14th for FamilyFun with tons of activities for kids of all ages, food trucks, and musical entertainment.

Welcome to Picklesburgh  July 20-22. Held on the Roberto Clemente Bridge, Picklesburgh celebrates all things pickle with entertainment, kids activities, food vendors, artists, and demos. Picklesburgh is a FamilyFun party for the entire family.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for Ice Cream! The Frick Pittsburgh hosts the Yelp! Ice Cream Social on July 21st. For $10 per person you can enjoy ice cream from local vendors. Vote for your favorite. Enjoy free entertainment and face painting for the kids. Plus you get to see the Frick, Pittsburgh’s hidden gem.

Dan and Phil come to Pittsburgh on July 22nd! Internet sensations Dan Howell and Phil Lester (just ask any tween or teen and they will explain it) bring their World Tour, Interactive Introverts, to Heinz Hall. Spend the evening with fellow Phans as we make Dan and Phil do what we want them to do!

Thomas Town opens at Kennywood on July 27th! The day is finally here! Pittsburgh gets its own little piece of Sodor. With four new rides, a new stage show, a soft play area, and a new gift shop, Thomas fans will find much to see and do. Best of all Thomas himself will take you for a ride along the tracks of the Kennywood Railroad!
