The big news at the Walt Disney World Resort is the grand opening of Star Wars Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios but there is so much more in the works throughout Disney World for 2019!
Mickey and Minnie Take Over Magic Kingdom!
Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration comes to Magic Kingdom Park. Mickey and Minnie will host a new Meet and Greet inside Town Square, near the entrance of Magic Kingdom Park. Have your picture taken with the original duo, collect autographs, and sign Mickey and Minnie’s Guest Book at Celebration Station.
Join in the Move It! Shake It! MouskeDanceIt!Street Party! at Cinderella’s Castle. This high-energy, musical show will get the whole family up and moving. Listen for the new song, “It’s a Good Time”, played daily at Magic Kingdom and get ready to move it and shake it!
Pluto joins the silly fun at Pete’s Silly Sideshow inside the Big Top in Fantasyland’s Storybook Circus. Get a picture with Mickey’s favorite dog.
The Mickey and Minnie Celebration continues with specialty merchandise, food, and beverages. Make sure you try the Mickey Soft Pretzel. If you are staying at a Disney Resort, try out the Mickey Waffle – a kid favorite.

Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Hollywood Studios!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios turns 30 on May 1, 2019. Join in the year-long celebration with new shows, new food, Toy Story Land, and the opening of Star Wars Land later this year.
Join in the party on Pixar Avenue inside Toy Story Land. Party with the Incredibles – Mr. Incredible, Elastagirl, Frozone, and Edna Mode during the daily shows, interactive games, and more. Can you find the Jack-Jack? He’s missing and the Incredibles want him back!
Toy Story Land is filled with new rides, activities, food, and games. Ride on Slinky Dog Dash – the new rollercoaster, and Alien Swirling Saucers. Get a high score at Toy Story Mania. Meet Buzz, Woody, and the residents of Toy Story Land.
Open a door into the Monster World with Mike and Sulley at Walt Disney Presents.
Younger kids will love the all new “Disney Junior Dance Party”. Dance the day away with the stars from Disney Junior including Vampirina and Doc McStuffins.
Hollywood Studio’s new entertainment debuts on January 18th.
Take a Walk on the Wild Side with the “Hakuna Matata Dance Party” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Timon and Rafiki host the World Beat party in the heart of Animal Kingdom. Kids can join in and let out their inner beast at this all-new, high-energy show.

Explore the World of Art at Epcot’s International Festival of the Arts!
Epcot at the Walt Disney World resort in Orlando Florida welcomes guests to the International Festival of the Arts from January 18th through February 25th. The annual Festival celebrates Art from around the world. With more concerts, more activities, and more food, this year’s Festival is a must-do event.
