Family+FunPittsburgh is back!
Hello Pittsburghers. We are so happy to be back bringing all of the Family+Fun in Pittsburgh for Kids and Families. We can’t believe it has been more than a year since we have all been able to get out and have fun. A lot has changed. We all have a new appreciation for what a “normal” life looks like. Some of our favorites are still operating under new rules, others are fully open, others have closed permanently.
Family+FunPittsburgh enjoyed our time in isolation. We grew together as a family. We spent quality time together. We shared daily moments. We started special Mother/Child journals. We fixed our home and yard. We started new businesses. Family+FunMom got an online job she loves. The Family+FunKids mastered new skills. We were already homeschoolers, so our schedules did not change. We watched in bemusement as everyone else struggled with their new normal. We thrived as we had spent a lot of time at home before the pandemic. (We are a special needs family, so going places is always a challenge.) We slowed down a lot. We cooked a lot. We created a lot. We will always cherish the time we spent together as a pandemic family.
We are happy to be back, bringing all that Pittsburgh as to offer to families and kids. As we open up a new normal is emerging. Family+FunPittsburgh will share all of it with you. (At this writing, masks are still required in some settings. Family+FunPittsburgh will keep updating the information as regulations change. Remember the best way to enjoy a mask-free experience is to get vaccinated. The Pfizer vaccine has been approved for everyone 12 and older. The Moderna vaccine has been approved for those 18 and older. Vaccines are available for walk-ins at Giant Eagle, CVS, Rite Aid, Walmart, Walgreens, and many local pharmacies. Some doctors offices and the major hospital chains also have vaccine clinics.)
We look forward to seeing everyone get out and have Family+Fun.
