Summer is almost over but there is still plenty of time to have some FamilyFun!
It’s Fair Time! August brings us County Fairs with rides, food, animals, tractor pulls and mud, music, stunt shows, and more! First up is the Fayette County Fair which runs through August 4th. The Greene County Fair starts on August 6th and ends on August 11th. The Washington County Fair runs from August 11th – 18th. The Lawrence County Fair goes from August 13th – 22nd. It’s Fall Fantasy time at Kennywood Park! Come out to Kennywood and support your local schools in the nightly Parade … and as a bonus explore the new Thomas Town, now open at Kennywood! Get yourself to a local farm for fresh harvests all month long. If you can’t make it a farm, check out local farmers markets and farm stands. Soergel Orchards has their Summer Harvest Festival August 4th and 5th.
Enter an exotic world of adventure and romance with Aladdin at the Benedum. The musical runs August 22nd through September 9th.
