Win a Thomas Party Package at Kennywood Park and celebrate Thomas’ Birthday

Kennywood Park is celebrating Thomas the Tank Engine’s 1st Birthday since the opening of Thomas Town at Kennywood last summer. The day-long celebration on May 12th will include special events and activities for Thomas fans.
One lucky Thomas fan will win a Thomas Town Party Experience Package at the Thomas Town Party Pavilion. The Package includes free admission and a catered party for up to 20 people, front of the line passes for Journey with Thomas, and VIP access to Thomas’ Birthday Celebration at Kennywood Park. To enter the contest, submit a picture of your young Thomas fan. Kennywood encourages you to submit a picture of your child at Thomas Town or playing with their favorite Thomas and Friends toys at home. The winner will be drawn in a random drawing from all of the entries. (Pictures are not judged in any way. The winner is drawn randomly.)

The winner will be notified on or around April 3, 2019. The Party Package Experience is valid only on May 12, 2019 so the winner and their friends must be available to head to Kennywood on May12, 2019.
Thomas Town is a unique area within Kennywood. The highlight is Journey with Thomas. Chug along the Kennywood Railroad tracks behind everyone’s favorite Very Useful Engine. There are four additional rides in Thomas Town, a special Thomas Town show featuring Percy, James, Emily, and Gordon with a special appearance by Sir Topham Hat, a climbing and play area, and a Thomas Gift Shop.
Cranky’ s Drop Tower is the most thrilling ride in Thomas Town. It is a multi-drop, tower ride for kids 42” tall. Flynn’s Fire Training is an interactive ride. Kids get to put out test “fires” in the central tower using real water! Smaller kids can ride in the cars too. Harold’s Helicopter Tour is a classic helicopter ride with riders controlling the rise and drop of their Harold. Diesel Drivers is another classic ride. Catch the Diesel train as it circles around the track.
Percy and his friends must get a package from Sodor to Thomas Town in the special interactive Thomas Town show.
The Thomas Town Soft Play area has a small climbing structure and a few slides plus a Thomas play set and Thomas videos. It is right next to the we;;-stocked Thomas Gift Shop.
Thomas Town will be celebrating Thomas’ birthday on May 12, 2019 during regular Kennywood hours. (Yes it is Mother’s Day but FamilyFunPittsburgh often spends Mother’s Day at Kennywood. We aren’t the brunch type unless we make it at home!) Kennywood is open for its summer season on May 12th from 1030AM-1000PM.
